#HumansofCov

I was delighted to be one of the writers commissioned for the #HumansofCov series by Coventry City of Culture 2021 earlier in the year. Each writer was tasked with creating 10 lines of film, audio or text in response to one of the declarations of human rights.

I decided to take on number 5 - No one shall be subjected to torture or to cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment – and I have created an audio piece which tells the story of a survivor of a coercive relationship.

All 30 will be appearing on line and round Coventry over the next 12 months.
