Dylan's Parents for Live Lunch at the Royal Court
Live Lunch at the Royal Court is a short, script in hand rehearsed reading. I was invited to write Dylan's Parents for the March 2016 reading.
Dylan's Parents examines how and if a family can welcome back their son after he has served time for a horrendous murder.
Re-writing the archives for Cotesbach Educational Trust
Cotesbach Educational Trust have an incredible archive and wanted it to be brought to live in short radio plays. I was one of six writers commissioned to explore the archives and wrote The Case of the Burbank Baby. It can be listened to by clicking the map.
For the past 30 years for Women and Theatre
Women and Theatre were celebrating their 30th anniversary as a company. I was one of 6 local writers commissioned to produce scripts dealing with topics which have been important to the company. Click on the logo for more info.
The Incredibles for Midland Heart Housing and Birmingham Rep Learning and Participation
I have been fortunate to work with 2 different groups made up of Midland Heart Housing tenants. They provided the stories and both times I helped shape the work into a script which they group performed to invited audiences.
